Allow Chrome to find devices on your local network

Allow Chrome to find devices on your local network - keeps popping up.

I say don't allow. I went to Settings Local Networks and all the requests of Chrome asking for permission is turned off. Yet that question keeps popping up.

Any ideas how to stop that?

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Go to Privacy & Security.
  3. Select Local Network.
  4. Locate Google Chrome in the list of apps.
  5. Toggle the switch to the off position to disable local network access for Chrome.

or is that what you’re doing?

It may be a bug installing Brave browser should cure it. Brave has all the advantages of Chrome & almost none of its drawbacks.
