How do I sort photos by date added on iPhone?

How do I make it so that photos appear in order of when they are added to my phone? I can appreciate them, appearing chronologically from when I take them with my own phone, but it is extremely upsetting whenever I save photos that are sent by text or airdropped to me from other people, and then I am unable to locate them in my album. Because they end up going in based on the date, those people took them And I have no idea when that is. I have photos that go all the way back to 2008, and there are so many. When photos get deposited amongst all the photos I have taken, it is impossible for me to find them. I want to change the settings so that They show up as the most recent photos, based on when they are added to the phone.

As hercules-king says, you can sort by date added in the Library or in Albums. Be sure not to have "Photos" at the top of the screen-- the Library view is accessed by scrolling up:

You might want to look at the Utilities section at the bottom of the screen-- there is a view there called Recently Saved.

With the new customization options,

you can add "Recently Saved" to "Pinned Collections." You can put other views there, too. And with the "Customize & Reorder" menu at the bottom,

you can move "Pinned Collections" up where you can get to it quickly.

Hi

You can sort items in your photo library to appear by the date they were added or by the date they were taken.

Go to the Photos app on your iPhone.
Swipe down on the photo grid.
Tap , then choose one of the following options:

- Sort by Recently Added: Photos and videos you added most recently appear at the bottom of the library.
- Sort by Date Captured: Photos and videos are sorted by the date they were taken, instead of the date they were added to the library.
