Why does my iPhone 16 Pro continue charging past the set 80% limit?
My iPhone 16 pro is set to charging limit 80% but very often it doesn’t work and continue charging past 80%, why?

The iphone will make slight changes to charging behavior on every charge. This includes charging a percentage slightly less or slightly more than the set amount. The device monitors the charge each time and will over and under charge and it’s not a reason for concern.
Apple also states that it will periodically charge to 100%. This is necessary so the algorithm can learn the actual state of the battery and charge capacity. Your iPhone uses this information to calibrate the charging algorithm. This can happen several times in a row or less frequently like once or twice a month. This behavior is all normal and to be expected.
