How can I prevent text pop-up from showing up in Facebook on my iMac?

Frst off, forgiiv me, but I do not have the terminology to fully explain what is happening. I just bought a new iMac desktop. Everything is working beautifully except for one quirk. When on

Facebook, I read a post that at the bottom say "see more" whic can be more or just one word. Moving/scrolling on, an approximately 8.5 x11 page/paper pops-up with all the text of what I just read. Cannot get rid of it. Need to close window and go to a different broswer. If I go back to the original browser (Safri) it's still there. How can I prevent this from happening. Never had this problem with previous computer.

Thanks for reply. Tried your suggestion and got to the end and it was a little iffy. But did not get one of these text pop-up. Then bam! After looking/read a FB site Weird & Wonderful things - the full text. Then nothing for a couple of day and then another just text fro just reading (no see more) from Ooccupy Democrates. So this seems to be a problem with FB and, if so, I'm screwed since FB has a moat & fire wall around itself. NO CONTACT! Attach see type of pop-up - full 8 x 10 page.
