I found one iPod with the case , I have tried to locate the owner to collect but kept getting . Page not available after going through the process on ‘Identify found item’ can I just take to any Apple Store in London ?

Apple does not get involved with lost or stolen products.
Apple will not give you any information about one of their customers.
When you find a lost item, turn it into the lost and found of where you found it or turn them into the police.
If you cannot find the identity I would give them to the local lost and found office, that is the correct way of dealing with lost items in the city
