Where is the filter menu in my photo library on Photos app?

On iPadOS 18 I am seeing the filters here: Filter and sort photos and videos in albums on iPad - Apple Support

Filter photos and videos in an album

1. Go to the Photos app  on your iPad.
2. Tap Albums, then open an album.
3. Tap , tap Filter, then choose an option.
4. Tap Done.

To remove a filter from an album, tap the icon that replaced  at the bottom of the screen, tap Filter, then tap All Items.

Click on the three dots up on the top right corner and click on it, then click filter

It is a bit confusing, that the term "Filter" is used in two different ways on the iPhone, for Filter effects in the Camera, and for a Smart Selection of photos in an album or collection.
