I have to factory reset airpod max every time I use them

Every time I open my MacBook or iPhone my AirPods Max say they’re attached in Bluetooth preferences but don’t work. I always have to factory reset then re-attach … then re-name them.

I am then told 'press and hold the button on the back of the charging case' which I do. The light on the case then turns off, and nothing changes on the iPhone screen - I have held the button for many minutes without progress. How can I resolve this? I have attached an screenshot of the page I am stuck on. Both devices are fully charged, and all my software is up to date.

Airpod Pro's won't connect/ are flashing orange. So I was trying to connect my airpod pro's one day and they just flashed orange. So I read an article about how to fix it and why they did it, and it told me to reset and reconnect them. I did what they said, and forgot them from my bluetooth. But now, they flash orange, and when I hold down the connect button, it'll be white for a few seconds, then back to the flashing orange. Or even flash orange and white. How can I fix this?

one of my airpods won’t even show up in settings and they are brand new I just got them today and when i opened them and connected them only the left one worked. then i forgot the device in settings on bluetooth and redid it and now only the right airpod is working.

Keep the buttons pressed for longer than 10 seconds when you're doing the amber and white. Then you're giving them a full on factory reset

That is weird, have you tried to reset them to see if the issues persist? Otherwise you might want to have them looked after

Yeah I have to do the three amber and then white every time then Re-pair… is there another way to hard reset ?
