How do I prevent accidental calls after ending a call on iPhone?

All I want is like a call summary screen to appear for a couple

of seconds after a call is ended to prevent my attempt at pressing end initiating another call from the recent calls list that appears instantly if the call is ended by the other party and then reacts as if I meant to dial the person whose number appeared mere milliseconds before my finger touched the screen. For a so called smart device, little issues like this frustrate the **** out of me. I think this will be my last iphone.

I agree that is frustrating. You can end the call with the Side button, but I occasionally have the same problem if I’m careless. It would be good idea to let Apple know about this issue, but the best place to suggest something to Apple is here→Product Feedback - Apple

I've also experienced that. But have found that if I close the phone app and return to the Home Screen after a call, it eliminates the problem. Yes, it takes time, but just a couple seconds. It has quickly become a habit for me. And no more problem.
