Is it possible to exchange my MacBook Pro for a 2TB model?

I bought my mcbook pro to use it for sound engineering and I'v been told recently that I should have asked for 2 TB instead of 512 GB. I want to know if there is any policy to exchange my laptop with another one having 2 TB without penalty.

There is a 14-day return window. Unfortunately you are way past that limit.

At this point your best bet would be to get a good external 2TB drive. USB 3.2Gen2x2, USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 or 5. Take a look at OWC's offerings ... among them, the OWC Express 1M2 SSD is very impressive.

If you bought direct from Apple, not through a Reseller of any description, you have 14 days from receipt to return your Apple Products for a full value refund or exchange.

After that, you own it and the only remedy if you want Strictly Internal storage to to sell it and use the cash to buy a computer that better meets your needs.

There are aftermarket solutions that are near-portable, such as these:

near actual size, about 1/4-in thick.
