Why is my iPhone 12 mini not connecting to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

Randomly my phone is no longer connected to WiFi, nor can I connect to Bluetooth.

I’ve restarted my phone and cleared Network settings, however no luck.

WiFi - box is greyed out in the settings and I’m unable to select

Bluetooth - keeps spinning around in the Settings screen

Try a force restart on the phone. Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

If it still won't work after that, since you have already tried a network reset, you need to contact Apple Support. The wi-fi and Bluetooth are on the same chip on the iPhone so it is very possible you have a hardware error.

Troubleshooting Bluetooth and WiFi:

Try the Following in the Order Provided:

A. Disable Cellular:

Try disabling Cellular, and using Wi-Fi instead, seeing if that makes all the difference.

B. Try manually restarting your iPhone:

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Select: General
  3. Scroll to: the Very Bottom
  4. Select: Shut Down
  5. Slide Finger: to the Right
  6. Wait: 30 Seconds
  7. Power One: the iPhone
  8. Try this Once More

C. Update your iPhone:

You have iOS 17 installed, yet iOS18.4.1 is the latest release, with which your device is compatible. For your model (12 mini), side form WiFi, can update using a computer (and thereby Ethernet), or using Cellular (if 5G is available). IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update.

As a Last Resort:

D. Restore form a Backup:

Have a backup of your iPhone? If you are not concerned with losing data, then restore your iPhone from a backup that was made when Wi-Fi and Bluetooth were working. Prior to restoring, back up your iPhone, incase anything goes wrong with the restoration.
