I have an iPhone 7 with the software version 15 on it. I am unable to download certain apps that say they need the 16 or better version of software, like cash app, Venmo, and all of the banking apps that I regularly use. What do I do?

Your iPhone 7 will not work with a newer iOS on it. To be able to use apps that require a newer iOS, you are going to have to get a new phone, or a newer phone that will support the newer iOS. You cannot install an app requiring a newer iOS if it cannot be installed on your device.

It is the developer of those apps that choose the minimum iOS version they want to support. If you want to use an app that requires a version your iPhone cannot support, then you will need to purchase a newer phone.
You only have one option. If you want to use those apps, you will need to buy a new iPhone that can update to the iOS needed by them.
