How to bypass Activation Lock on iPhone 11 safely?

My father gave me his iPhone 11 over a year ago, it fell from his hands and he fixed it from 3rd party technicians who were unable to fix the IMEI chip at the time.

Obviously resetted it but it caused an Activation Lock as the IMEI chip was broken. I had to spent over 100$ to get it fixed, again from a 3rd party technician.

Before getting it fixed, i tried to repair it myself by trying to install anything that would make the activation lock go away. Nothing worked, in the end i had to take it to the technician.

BECAUSE i tried to install those bypass softwares, i am currently stuck on 1.17.1, they are showing me the updates and i am able to install them, but in the end it says unable to verify and fails.

The main reason i want to fix this is because i am not able to connect to my apple watch because i am in an old software.

I am afraid if i reset my iPhone 11 after backing up my data, the activation lock might come on again, is there any safe way to fix this?
