It is just a scam, nothing is needed other than deleting the message. You would never want to click a link in that message or call any number even if they claim they are from Apple. That is a direct line to the scammer where they hope you will give them your Apple Account info or worse your financial info to drain your bank account. Apple does not use SMS, so that would be a red flag.

Good job in identifying and questioning that attempted scam.

Some key points in a scam:

1. That message never mentioned you by name.
2. That phone number directs you to a scammer who is (most likely) working in an organized scam call center in another country.
3. You were not hacked. Your contact details were provided to the scammers by privacy breaching services that you may have used (such as social media).

That’s all the evidence you need to block, report and delete the message.

Again, good job in identifying that scam and questioning the message.

If you receive a suspicious email or SMS text message that looks like it's supposed to be from Apple, please email it to reportphishing@apple.com. 

Delete all. It’s a scam. Apple sends no such messages.
