Cant transfer SIM Data because side button is broken.

Ive recently gotten a brand new Iphone 16, which doesnt have a sim port, and when i tried to transfer the eSim i was unable to because I needed to double tap to confirm with the power button of my Iphone 13, the issue is it has been broken for months. I tried setting up double tap with assistive touch and switch control, but for some reason to activate both of those you need to double tap. I cant transfer my sim and I cannot even begin to explain how infuriating this is.
