You really should NOT store your bank passwords or even your Apple ID account password on the phone. If anyone knows your passcode could get full access to your passwords.

Any decent banking app (like all of mine in UK) would use a passcode or PIN which is different to the phone passcode and a good banking app would never store the PIN.

If you forgot it contact your bank call centre

Enable Passwords And Keychain in iCloud Settings:

With iOS18, there is the Passwords app to view and edit your credentials for sites.

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: your name (top item)
3. Tap: iCloud
4. Tap: See All >
5. Tap: Passwords and Keychain
6. Toggle On: Sync this iPhone

Resetting your Password:

Is there a “Forgot your Password?” link that lets you reset it? If so, consider proceeding with it. If not, contact your bank, or maybe pop in for the day, requesting assistance.

iOS 18 introduced a brand new dedicated Passwords app which now stores your passwords. They are no longer situated in the Settings app. The app should have been deposited to the last page of apps, which looks like a set of keys.
