How to update apps on iPad with insufficient funds and a new card?

So basically I did a payment some time ago with insufficient funds and Apple still let me have the benefits of the payment/subscription (it is for a vocal cleaning app). But when you make a payment with insufficient funds you can not download or update any apps. But almost all my apps need an update, and I recently got a new card that I do not want to put on my iPad because I know it will charge it and I don't want to spend over my planned savings. But in order to update or download any apps I have to make that purchase. What do you guys recommend me doing? Should I make the sacrifice or try to figure another way?

It would be best for you to contact iTunes Support to resolve this. There will be no other options until you resolve the issue with insufficient funds. But they can walk you thru the steps to make sure you go thru them in the right order.

To contact iTunes Support, do this:

1. Click on this link --> Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support

2. Select your country

3. Select: Billing & Subscriptions

4. Select: Subscriptions & Purchases

5. Select: Update payment method

6. Select a chat session or a phone call.
