How do I fix rejected keychain passwords in Firefox?

Firefox wants to sign using key "Imported Private Key" in your keychain

Beginning a few hours ago, I am getting the popup below whenever I use Firefox to save a SSL certificate on my Macbook. What is the "login" keychain password? When I enter the password I use to open the Macbook, it's rejected.

login keychain missing When I reset my Default Keychains in keychain access and enter my password, it comes up with an error message, "Unable to obtain authorization for this operation." I used to be able to enter my computer password to open a keychain in keychain access but now won't work. How do I fix this problem? I am running 10.14.6 Mojave

Keychain pop up with Safari When I use Safari (or another browser) to access a protected website (with an SSL certificate) there is a pop up constantly popping up saying 'Safari wants to make changes to the system keychain...' etc. And I have to give my system login name and password. I can imagine that this pops-up once, but it pops-up all the time. Even when I don't do anything after a couple of minutes it pops up and I have to give may system login again and again. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to stop this? I have the latest OS on my macBook: Ventura 13.5

I had to update my keychain password. The steps do not mention that it will erase all saved passwords, so heads up.

Keychain keeps the original password.
