How do I fix IP address issue on Mac network?

I've been having this problem for a while in diferent Macs.

When I connect to a wired network, it shows me an IP address of 192.168.5.20 and the router's number is 192.168.4.1.

This prevents some programs from working.

This doesn't happen on a Wi-Fi network.

Can you help me?

Most likely, the network DHCP subnet mask (CIDR) configured on the DHCP server is set incorrectly, or that the DHCP server is configured to serve the wrong IP address for the designated router.

It is also possible the local subnet router is misconfigured or malfunctioning, or that the client is plugged into a router or switch port configured for a different local IP subnet. This if the local network has two or more subnets in use.

The client can also be manually configured the local network settings for the network, and that manual setup is somehow erroneous. Easiest fix here is can be switching the client to a DHCP-configured setup.
