How do I fix single tap to open links in WhatsApp on iPhone?

Apple have no idea and their only suggestion is for a factory reset. This is a lazy solution, which is massively inconvenient and has no guarantee it will work. The AppleHelp operative doesn’t even have a smart phone, let alone tried to click on a weblink sent/received via WhatsApp!

Yea ok... You don't seem to understand that you're using whatsapp which is META product not Apples.

There is no settings in an iPhone that would force you to double tap instead of single tap.

You seem convinced it's an iPhone issue. Several answers have been given to you but you continue to argue. Clearly no one is going to change your mind so why continue this nonsense?
