Why is my iPhone 13 not making any incoming sounds?

Apple iPhone 13...I've read all the advice on the threads going back years. No one seems to have an answer for this problem. Is it a device problem or is is Verizon or whom ever is your provider? Without that info there is no answer to the issue.

My phone most of the time does not give any incoming sounds for calls, mail, or texts. I can look out my window and see two hills covered with antennas, and I have two cell towers within two miles of my house. I have direct line of sight to one.

I would really like a solution as I have now missed two calls from doctors and one semi emergency call.

Has anyone lately done anything to resolve this issue? Any new advice? I have gone through everything presented multiple times with no solution. One call to Apple did not have results either. Guess I may have to switch to Android devices.

Problem solved???? At night, I used to use focus settings. Normally I disable bluetooth and network and put the focus into do not disturb. No emf in my bedroom! Then in the morning I turn it all back on. So I decided not to do that...just used the side silence button. Turned it off instead. Seems like my issues have been resolved. Perhaps the phone could not make a good connection to a cell tower after the on and off use. I have no idea but sounds and rings are now coming through. I did notice that sweeping down to open up these settings no longer has the focus 'tab'. Perhaps this was an issue some update fixed.

How about explaining in details what Apple support had you do so that way a user doesn't respond with troubleshooting steps, only to have you say tried and it didn't work.

Also stating "I may switch to Android" holds no merit here, there is no Apple in these user to user technical forum, nor do we care if you switch.

Anyone who reads my post most likely has already been dealing with the same issues. We're all looking for an answer and have tried everything. Anyone who just discovered they have this issue should not be concerned with my post but do their own searching. This issue isn't just recent but goes back in Apple history years. It goes from the basic check the side silencing switch on down the line. This post was meant for those who have done all the searching and still have the issue...maybe one of them can add something new. And yes, if switching to an android phone solves the issue then maybe that's the overall solution. There's the merit for you. Of course if it is why would anyone come back to this forum to post about it? So Mr. Level 10 do you think you were helpful here?
