Unable to see printers & other devices on my local network

MacBook Air, Apple Silicon (M1), Sequoia 15.4.1. I'm unable to see my printers (they show up as offline), and I can't remote (using Windows App) into my Windows computer. My MacBook's IP address is 192.168.50.220 on subnet 192.168.50.255. One of my printers reports that its IP address is 192.168.223.1. Please excuse my networking n00biness; what should/can I do to diagnose and fix the problem? TIA!

Situation resolved! I looked up how to reset the Bonjour service, and did the following:

  1. Opened Terminal and enter the command sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder to reset the mDNSResponder service, which is responsible for Bonjour functionality.
  2. Restarted my router. This can help clear any stale DNS information that might be causing problems.
  3. Additional instructions (that I didn't have to execute)... In Terminal, use the command sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder to flush the DNS cache and reset the mDNSResponder service.

Glad to hear you resolved the issue. It sounds like your computers are only finding the printer on Bonjour/mDNS. The "at (incomplete)" in your ARP results suggests the IP <-> MAC address mapping for the printer isn't quite right at the router.

You might also want to check and reconfigure the Wifi settings on the printer. It may prevent a future recurrence.
