When i try to share any asset via share icon i cannot see any of my apps in share sheet
i am on ios 17.7
the more icon also doesnt hold any apps

Try resetting all settings. Please follow this path,
iPhone > Settings > General > scroll down > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings > follow onscreen instructions
You need to have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. It can be done in person at an Apple Retail Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support and request remote diagnostics.

Is it possible for you to update to the latest iOS version to see if the issues persist
Tap the More button (3 dots in a circle) and add Apps to the available apps.
Is your device a managed device? Are you in an Apple Family Sharing Group?
I am not sure what do you mean by managed device but I use my apple Id in all of my devices as well as in my corporate deivce. Yes I was in a family sharing group but I removed it but still seeing this issue.

More button only gives Airdrop and Messages as apps. No other apps are there to select
I can check but it was working before. It suddenly stopped since few months. I did reset my settings but of no luck
