I have an idea. Call or visit an Apple Store and see if they’ll weigh a brand new, in the box iPhone 16 Pro for you, if you’re serious about this. Like lobster said, this is a user to user forum. You won’t probably won’t find anyone who has a boxed iPhone 16 Pro sitting around.

Good idea, H1290!

Challenge accepted!

Edit: Challenge failed. I have the 16 Pro Max, and not the Pro. But my manuals and cable were still untouched in the box. But then I’d have to remove the screen protector and case, so I’m out.
Most everyone will fail this challenge. I mean who has a brand new unopened iPhone 16 Pro in the box sitting on their counter?

Why does the OP even need this info is what I’m wondering? Unless they’re carrying the box around, and 1 lb sounds like an arbitrary number.

Well I would say it’s obviously related to shipping, and the price of shipping something over a pound, but I don’t know the context.

OP: if you’re shipping something to someone, you can weight it yourself. If someone is shipping something to you, they can weigh it and let you know the weight.

If I’m totally wrong, please provide more context. Thank you!

It’s really going to depend on the packaging. I asked a friend at Verizon (store manager) to weigh a couple boxes. The iPhone 16 pro max averaged 14 to 16 ounces and 16 pro averaged 13 to 15 ounces. She said the variations are due to external box sizes that contain the iPhone in the retail box. Some shipping boxes are bigger than others and may contain different packing materials that are designed to reduce damage during shipping.
