Why is my Apple Watch screen on during sleep mode?

Before my watch went to sleep (power off) when I went to scroll up and select the sleep (moon) botton. That saved me a lot of battery power. Now even in sleep mode, the light is on all night. Where can I find the switch to get to the same mode again?

The moon button is not sleep, the moon is do not disturb. The sleep focus looks like a bed

if you want to turn off the screen for the night, i use the theatre mode, that is the button with the two theatre masks. Then the screen stays off until you turn off that mode again

On your iPhone, go to Settings/Focus/Sleep Focus -> Custom Screens -> Options -> Sleep Screen & Show Time -> Enabled.

I have no additional screens selected for the Sleep Mode.

Wearing my watch during the night, my screen will only show the time on a dark background, if I either turn the Digital Crown or tap on the screen.

If you are not wearing your watch during the night, make sure that in the WatchApp on your iPhone under General, -> Bedside Mode is enabled.
