A quick search doesn't show any discussions related to this topic. I need good GIS software, and I don't want an online service. As you know ArcGIS doesn't run on MacOS.
Does anyone use GRASS, or other reliable open source GIS software? I can consider either open source or a software purchase.
I'm certified in GIS so I am not looking for reduced functionality like Google Earth, etc.

I'm currently developing some iOS and Mac GIS apps. But I don't expect to release anything until 2026 at the earliest.
Until then, your choices are extremely limited. It's pretty much just QGIS.
You won't find any help for it on this forum. There aren't a lot of Mac GIS users. I assume there are support forums for QGIS somewhere. But just so you know, those communities are often openly hostile to Mac users.
It seems like a great opportunity for me as a developer. But real-world apps like this are difficult and slow to develop. I wish I had a better answer for you.
