I just got a new iPhone 16. My parents still have a landline, and when they call me it will come through on my end, but they don’t hear any ringing on their end. If I pick up the call will go through.
I made sure VM is set up for the new phone. They even bought a new landline and the issue still persists.
Can’t seem to find any similar cases online so I’m at a loss.

The sound you hear when calling is called a ringback tone. It is controlled by the carrier and has nothing to do with the phone.
Have then contact their carrier for help with this. Some phone companies are shutting off this feature.

And what did your carrier say when you contacted them as instructed?
I’m having the same issue. My parents have a landline and when I call them, the phone call does not go through. I’ve looked through everything on my settings and can’t figure out the issue. When my mom calls me, it will come through but with a slight delay, so I end up saying hello three times or so.
