Apple Pencil tip does not come off

I'm using an Apple Pencil USB-C. I wanted to remove the tip of the pen that I installed about a week ago and have been using since then. But it didn't come out. I turned it both ways but it seems to be stuck. I'm using the original tip, this is the first time I have experienced this with my pen that I have been using for a few months. The pen hasn't fallen, so I don't think the tip is broken. What should I do? The pen works, I just can't get the tip out.

For reference, you would turn the pencil's tip counterclockwise to remove it as it is screwed on with a clockwise motion. It may be possible that some debris was present when you installed this tip.

You can also try wearing a silicon "surgical" glove to see if that will provide you with enough friction to unscrew the tip.
