Random Mindfulness sessions recorded in Fitness

Hello dear Apple Support Community!

I have Mindfulness sessions appear at random among my actual workouts in the Fitness app. Some of those are back to back even with one starting at the same hour and minute as the previous one's end's. But I have not actually started any Mindfulness sessions today, for example, and anyway, I don't think you can select just a "Mindfulness" workout from the Mindfulness (there's only Breathe, Reflect and Log state of mind), yet I already have 4 of those in my sessions log.

I have a suspicion that it might be related to the Mindfulness reminders? Does a session perhaps start by itself when a reminder comes and not dismissed or something? I'm pretty sure I was not being mindful at the times that are shown at the app.

Anyway, is there a way to record Mindfulness only when I explicitly started it (I would like to still keep the reminders and I hope they're not the culprit)?

Thanks!

Figured it out! When you're writing in the Journal app, it gets logged as Mindfulness (that's reasonable if you think about it). A bonus is BPM measurements during writing in the journal. I guess you could disable this functionality by tinkering with the data sources in various apps, but as long as I understand where the sessions come from, I'm not going to bother with that.
