Why am I seeing the update Apple ID settings alert on my MacBook Pro?
There is an alert on my 2019 Macbook Pro running OS 13.7.5 that says Update Apple ID Settings; some account services will not be available until you sign in again. I click continue and it asks for my Apple ID login password which I enter. Then it asks me to Enter Mac Password which I do. Then it asks Enter the passcode you use to unlock the iPhone...When I try to enter the passcode I am prevented from adding any text into the six boxes as the screen is locked. When I hit cancel and try the entire process again the same thing occurs. I waited overnight to try this again and the same thing occurred. Can someone at Apple help me solve this issue? Thanks.
