How do I fix frequent freezing in Google Chrome on MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.4.1?

Two things of concern

Part 1 of 2

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS,  is an invitation for disaster. 

Certain Applications maybe available on the Apple Apps Store - this only means the Developer is prepared to pay Apple a percentage on each sale. 

What the Application may do to the computer is up to the User to check this out before purchase

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions 

Disk Cleaner 

Un-Like Microsoft Windows, which does have “ Disk Cleanup “ and “ Defrag “ as part of their Operating System 

Apple does not and are not needed

Short and unpopular suggestion for some

Google Chrome is a good web browser for the sole purpose it was designed to do by the Developer.

Removing " Google "  Chrome 

You can get much the same experience only without the baggage of Google Keylogger

I’d try the Brave browser, it’s Chrome without google.
