16e shut down with white iPhone icons crisscrossing. Can’t open phone

Can’t restart iPhone. Been shut down multiple times. When back on 2 white iPhone icons come on screen and crisscross until it goes blank again

Have you tried to force restart it to see if the issues persist?

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
