When I press ENTER key I get a P on my iPad Air

I have an iPad Air with a key board. When I press the enter key I get a P on screen. When I press P I get/. All the other keys are Ok.

I have been into settings and gone into keyboard hardware and changed from English Automatic to English (previous post) but still happening.

All the other keys OK.

No spills or physical damage.

HELP :)

When I touch and hold a key that has a shift character (eg 7 has the shift character “&” on my UK keyboard) the & appears next to my finger, but when I release the key the 7 appears in the text. This is true for all keys showing a shift character. I’ve rebooted, and gone through the keyboard settings, but nothing seems to shift it - pun intended.

iPadOS Swedish keyboard keys are English ipados 26.3 swedish keyboard stopped working. I have deleted all the keyboards and added English and Swedish keyboards again but the keyboard is still English even after I have chosen the Swedish using the globe key. The Swedish keyboard shows up as an option but the keys are still English. I have also restarted the iPad, but with the same result. Any solutions?

Artek keyboard keys not typing the @ sign but the “ sign? Artek keyboard keys not typing the @ sign but the “ sign? All the keys work and I have checked the settings of the keyboard on the iPad as I am in the UK. Even trying various keys to see what they would do, but certainly the @ sign is a bit of a frustration. Hope someone else can provide an answer?Love and peace. Tim

Sounds like damage, there are no settings that would do that. Try another keyboard to verify.
