AirPod pro one side(right) not working/pairing/detected issue

My AirPod pro 2nd gen has an issue where the right side of the earpiece is not detected or charging out of sudden. I have done all kinds of hard reset, clean power point and even went to Genius Bar for checking.

They said that the right AirPod is malfunction and it requires $130 to replace as it just passed the warranty (1year 3month). And that’s the only option.

Okay now the problem, my AirPod is moderately use and well taken care(no drop, no water damage), a $300 product that only last 1year+? And it takes 50% of the price to repair? That’s ridiculous. Even if I were the one who damaged it, I would rather buy a new one.

And many similar issues can be found online. They are lucky for free replacement because it’s still under warranty. It’s obviously a quality assurance issue on the product itself. How would an high end Apple product lasts for only 1year+?

There’s nothing I can do here. I can only choose not to fork out money to replace it. And I will not buy any product from Apple again! This post is to let you guys aware when considering getting an Apple product.
