Apple Account Balance Disabled — No Solution Since December 2024

Hello everyone,

I’ve been struggling with a serious issue since December 2024, and I’m hoping someone here can help or at least make Apple take this seriously.

I have $429.88 in my Apple Account Balance, but I’ve been unable to use it for months. Every time I try to make a purchase, pay for Apple Music, or renew my AppleCare, I get a message saying my balance is disabled and that I should call Apple Support.

Well, I’ve done that. Hundreds of times.

I’ve explained my case over and over, but Apple Support keeps transferring me between departments, giving me no solution. The problem started with an order I placed in December 2024 (Order W13*****44). Initially, the product didn’t arrive, so I opened a case (which I lost), but later the product was delivered. Since then, my account has been blocked.

It feels extremely unfair that Apple is holding my money without allowing me to use it, despite all my efforts to resolve this.

I need Apple to:

  • Re-enable my $429.88 balance.
  • Remove the purchasing block on my account.
  • Explain why this restriction was applied and why it hasn’t been fixed after months of calls.

This situation is frustrating and unacceptable. I hope posting here will get the right attention.

Thank you.

Sorry, Apple is not here and will not see your post. We are simply users just like you that have no influence on any decisions Apple makes.

The terms of use for your Apple Account are available here. It does make it clear that your account can be permanently suspended with any account balance remaining when fraud has been detected of violation of one of the many conditions. It is not required that you are notified of the reason for termination.

Very rarely are there second chances and the only time I have seen it is when a user was sending out multiple messages where others had marked it as spam. In that case they received an email that their account may be closed if it continued, but no information was provided on who marked it as SPAM or what the metrics were to make that determinations. In most cases, there is never a warning or reason given for termination of the account.

All you can do is continue your efforts with Apple, open a new Apple Account, and/or go to small claims court to attempt and recoup your money.
