How do I remove the blue dots after updating apps on iPad?

To start off, I’m an android user, but a few years ago I got an iPad because they are good for digital art. It’s been okay, not bad at least. However one of my biggest annoyances is the blue dots after updates. Because I’m busy everyday except for weekends, I generally only get the chance to use my iPad on said weekends. I have a couple apps that I strongly don’t want updated so manual updates are the only way I can go, which leads to almost half of my apps being updated (I have around 30 apps at most) at once when I first get on. I have a burning hatred for those dots, and while it’s definitely an overreaction I think I’m allowed to be upset about something that makes me upset. Also the “It disappears after a day or two” argument doesn’t work on me because it’s extremely rare that I use my iPad for more than two days at a time, meaning it won’t disappear until I’m done using it for the week :(

I saw some posts from a few years back asking this question and it was a resounding “no,” so I don’t have high hopes but I thought I’d ask! I could get a different launcher, but I did that to my phone a few months ago and it took over a week to get my home screen back to the specific organization I do so if I don’t have to do it, that would be preferable lol

The blue dot to which you refer, that temporarily indicates that an App has been updated, does indeed disappear after a few days - or immediately if the corresponding App is accessed. An orange dot is similarly associated with any Apps that have been installed from the Apple TestFlight App.

The appearance of these indicators is not configurable.
