Why is Apple Maps taking up 2.43 GB on my iPhone?

• Turn off Maps at Settings > [name on top] > iCloud > [show all] > Maps.
• Delete Maps. Offload won't work, it must be deleted.
• Force Restart Phone - Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
• Make sure Maps is no longer taking up any storage.
• Redownload Maps
• Post what you see for Maps storage.

Do you have any guides on your iPhone? Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app? Or if you don’t want to do that, try offloading then reinstalling it.

I would say something isn't right. Maps on my iPhone only take up 123.7MB.
