Should i update 16 pro on ios 18.5 ? What is the review after 3 days of using ?

You are always going to see that some people somehow have some issue after an update. Just like visiting a hospital and seeing sick people, then thinking everyone on the planet must be sick.

I updated to 18.5 the moment it was released and like just about every update I've ever installed, I have experienced NO issues at all. One thing I do after EVERY iOS update is Force Restart my iPhone. It is always best to update when updates comes out as they usually include important security updates designed to keep your phone and data safe.

I also have a 16 pro. Just updated two nights ago and spent all day yesterday trying to figure out why my charging port wasn’t functioning and why my phone would crash and get caught in a boot loop. Wireless charging still works at least. Maybe wait? lol

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max I've had since release date and I've updated to all iOS 18 versions. I have not experienced a problem with the charging port on my device, nor any other issues as lobsterghost1 has pointed out. You will see occasional problems with some people, but the security patches are important.

You should always update to the latest available version of iOS.
