Why are albums getting moved to recently deleted on my iPhone 16 Pro?

I’m afraid I’ve lost albums. I noticed that albums are randomly being moved to recently deleted tab. I hadn’t checked it in a while so I’m afraid the albums have been deleted. I have plenty of cloud storage. Why are albums moving there? I think that it happens when I add a new album.

The Recently Deleted view can never show Albums. In any case, Albums are just lists of pictures, not actual files or folders, so even if an album is deleted, the pictures in the list remain in the Library.

What do you actually see?
