17.7.7 on Ipad Pro Broke YouTube zoom, volume, pinch

On my 10.5-inch iPad Pro, the 17.7.7 constant logins are annoying, but the Horrible issue for me is the loss of YouTube controls in a browser or the app. The pinch, zoom, and volume controls disappeared with 17.7.7. Also gone are video quality control choices, page resizing choices, and most everything needed to watch videos. Plus I have to log into YouTube every time I open the app. I had to relog into every app and redo profile info and app settings. But this is about YouTube being trashed by this iOS update.

Does anyone have a clue how to pinch/zoom or volume control videos in YouTube app or YouTube web browsers with this godawful 17.7.7 IOS? My eyesight is poor and I am devastated.

Multiple issues with iPadOS 17.7.7 have been documented in recent days within the iPad Support Community. This update has since been withdrawn by Apple pending release of a fix.

As you have already updated to iPadOS 17.7.7, your best option it to be patient. While Apple have not indicated when reported issues will be fixed, you might reasonably anticipate an additional update being released within the coming days.

In the meantime, should you wish to do so, you might submit a Bug Report via Apple's Product Feedback portal.  For iPad and iPadOS:

Feedback - iPad - Apple

When submitting your Bug Report, please ensure that you include details of your iPad model and installed version of iPadOS within the body-text of your report along with details of the problem. Do not rely upon the pick-list - as this rarely includes the current version of iPadOS. To submit your report, choose the nearest available version from the list - ensuring that you include iPadOS 17.7.7 in the body of your report.

In addition [i.e., not as a substitute] to submitting a Bug Report, you might also consider reporting the issue directly to Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page; you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
