Why is my iPhone’s Screen Time is showing wrong usage?

So basically I go to school from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm and my phone is counting the time I am at school when my phone is powered off in my backpack and I close my tabs before I power it off to and turn of my phone but it still keeps counting it and my dad is getting mad because my phone is saying that I am on it for almost 8 hours and day when I normally spend about 2

Hello Person123H

I have noticed that you are looking on the screen time for all devices, so every device on the account will be added in this chart. If you click on Devices in the right top corner of the screen you can change the view to the individual device you want the chart from.
