Street names on Maps route hidden

I know this has been mentioned before, but there has yet to be a legitimate answer as to why the street names on the selected route in Maps is impossible to see without scrolling so far out of view of the route, you lose your point of reference. Why has this not been addressed? I think Apple should have a legitimate answer as this is a known problem, or update Maps. It’s incredibly frustrating. The opacity on the blue route is clear enough you could see the existing road names just fine, but they added an extra step in their backend process that hides it…
