If your watch shows that you have been standing up, that does not mean, that you stood up for a whole hour.

The watch wants you to stand up at least for a minute per hour. Which can be counted within those 5 minutes wearing the watch in the morning. My watch does this while I prepare breakfast, for example.

The movement of your arm also counts as standing. For example grabbing something from a shelf above your head and sitting down again, or moving your arm sideways left to right a couple of times.

Putting my hand in the air and letting the arm drop to the floor a couple of times in a row also works.
