MacBook Pro with macOS Sequoia 15.5 is not detecting second external screen

Hello

I'm currently attempting to run 2x Asus ROG XG27UCDMG 4k monitors using my Macbook Pro M4. The issue is that I cannot get both screens to work at the same time, only one screen is on at any given time. I've tried in and out of clamshell mode (same result).

I have tried:

HDMI -> MBP

USBC/DP -> MBP

2X USBC/DP -> MBP

I have confirmed that both monitors work independently on both the HDMI and DP ports, just not both at the same time. I am not using a dock or anything like that.

The monitors are also connected to a Windows machine via HDMI ports and works flawlessly on my desktop machine. I have also tried to unplug the HDMI connections to the windows machine in case there was some confusion at the monitor level.

Having said that, for some reason I got both monitors to work together yesterday for a brief period of time, but i have not been able to replicate it. The second monitor also does not show up in display settings when both monitors are connected.

Very strange.

Appreciate any insight into this.
