i went to eat cereal and came back to the black box on the bottom ive tried resetting and i do not think it is the heat it also does not change when i press down on it

There is a crack on the lower left edge of the display just above the bad area at the bottom. It is the white & red small arc shown in your second photo.
Did you try restarting the computer?
Does this happen with other web sites or apps?
Does the rectangle change if you change the angle of he display?
