Why is my watchOS 11.5 distance calculation off after update?

Ever since I upgraded to watchOS 11.5 on my series 10 I’m seeing inaccurate distances when I select an ‘indoor walking’ workout. In previous versions the watch would map on to treadmill distances pretty well, usually with in a +\-0.01 mile variance (which is totally acceptable). However after upgrading to watchOS 11.5 I constantly have a -0.1 mile variance in my distance. I have tested this with 5 different treadmills all different brands and models just in case there was some sort of issue with the specific treadmill I usually use at the gym. The watch is constantly has a -0.1 variance regardless of the treadmill I use.

Did you already force restart your watch after the latest update?

To force restart, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

If this does not work, try to calibrate your watch again:
