How to have images and documents be centered on display when opening them

I recently bought a 27" studio display. coming from a 16" MBP. I now notice the I open an image ( which h I do a lot of editing), and .pdf's in preview, they are always opened on the left side of the screen and I then have to drag them to the center.

I'd like a way to have images & .pdf , etc., open in the center of the display. Is there a way to accomplish this in the settings? Apple says no .....

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. So is that correct? There is no way natively to accomplish this in Mac OS?
