AirPods Max not showing up in Find My

I had my AirPods Max for a while and yesterday when I checked the location, my AirPods Max weren’t showing up. By that I mean it was completely gone and not just the location isn’t showing up. I figured it was because I lent my AirPods to my friend, so he forgot the device and I looked again but it was still not there. I closed the find my app and opened it, I even turned my phone off but it didn’t work. I turned off and then on the Find My on the AirPods settings but that didn’t work either. Does anyone know what is going on?

thanks

"AirPods Max not showing up in Find My: Thanks for the help I unfortunately did not see my AirPods there (the link) and somehow my MagSafe wallet disappeared from the website (it’s still on the app so it’s ok) Does iCloud storage have to do with any of this? Because I’m using 12 GB out of 5. Or is it some other reason or are they just broken"

You are welcome.

Not Seeing AirPods:

Is "iCloud Storage" Taking any Part?:

No. iCloud Storage has nothing to do with finding items in Find My. What are you referring to about "12GB out of 5". You're not going to get more iCloud Storage than what you pay for, when it comes to an iCloud Storage Plan. You can get 5GB free, depending on your location. See you storage here: https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive

Perhaps they are Fake:

One thing to know is that they may be fake. So, who sold these to you? Apple? A retailer? Or someone else? Apple, nor a retailer(iffy), would sell you fake AirPods. See how you can detect this, by viewing what Google AI provides: identifying fake airpods

AirPods Max not showing up in Find My

I had my AirPods Max for a while and yesterday when I checked the location, my AirPods Max weren’t showing up. By that I mean it was completely gone and not just the location isn’t showing up.[…]

About AirPods and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the location shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to that itself was connected to the internet. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address.

So, they are likely unpairs from a device associated to yore Apple Account, and are now associated to someone else’s Apple Account.

hello thanks for the reply.: I actually paired it again but it unfortunately did not work. And way before that I pressed “forget device” on my friend’s iPad. Are my AirPods broken then?

Finding AirPods:

They might be broken, or they might not. Who knows? Nonetheless, they’ll show up wherever the device these are paired with is itself connected to the Internet. So, pair them to the desired device, and then see if they are seen at this link: https://www.icloud.com/find
