Why won’t my iPhone 16 always vibrate when set to Silent mode?

Remember when touch, haptics intelligent breakthrough and if you set your iPhone to vibrate it just did.

iOS has been over developed in my opinion. All these complicated settings need to be Addins or an app or an option to opt in.

I want my phone to vibrate when I put it one vibrate and not have to worry about whether it’s faced down, whether a person is in my contacts and whether they’ve had some action assigned to them or depending on what app they use to contact me.

It’a too much and if you’re not 15 and have all the time in the world it’s extremely unhelpful to have to learn about and then try to configure the phone to do one of two simple things. Ring or vibrate.
