Sorry, no. Only your carriers have the capabilities of tracking your iPhone with the IMEI number, but they will typically only do so with a court order to assist in an emergency such as a missing person. The only way you can track your lost iPhone is by using the Find My application, if it was setup beforehand.

I have asked the mods to remove your Serial number etc - this is a public forum and we dont want to help any crooks.

You don't. The only way to track it is using find my.

Didn't the title originally read that the OP wanted to track the phone by its serial number – the human-readable one?!?

Actually the original title was simply the serial number. I got that removed in the first minutes.
