Dock Application folder deleted

Question

Dock Application folder deleted

Hi. I deleted the Applications folder from my Dock. Any idea how to replace it please?

MacAir M2. OS up to date.

MacBook Air 15″, macOS 15.4

Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu, click on its name in the title bar, and drag the little icon which appears to the Dock. If desired, control-click that and change the options.

More info. It is the Launchpad I have deleted. And would like back.

Hi. Thanks for responding. I can drag the icon with a green + sign, but it won’t stick in the dock. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Proceed as above, but with the Launchpad item in Applications instead of the folder itself, and put it on the left side of the dividing line.

Well THAT was easy. Many thanks. Ex PC owner, so I didn’t know the correct name of the Launchpad.
